'tis the season.

So it's that time of year again. When houses are warmer when filled with family and friends, the aromas of the season fill the air with delicous scents of pumpkin, and spices, and baked goods, snow is just around the corner, and once Thanksgiving is over the decorating begins! I must admit I'm having a hard time resisting decorating for Christmas until after the Thanksgiving meal has been devoured so in the meantime I'm searching for all the inspiration I can find. The color scheme this year, and probably every year from now on, is: silver, turquoise, white, blues, and hints of gold. Courtesy of Country Living come these images that I fell in love with and will be taking inspiration from.

I can't get over how simple the style of decor is and yet so festive and peaceful at the same time. If you're interested in any of the items in the photos above, click here to view the slideshow and view sources for items such as the lovely headboard, the angel wings, even the exact match for the bedroom wall color (which is just sheer perfection isn't it?!), and more. And don't be shy ladies, I want to hear all about your ideas and plans for your own holiday decor!

P.S. a very special thank you to those of you who have asked how I've been during my two month break from blogging. Life got a little rough, but with lots of love and support I'm getting back on track. :) Xoxo
